The Bureau of Indian Standards has released the Admit Cards for the online examination for the recruitment of Assistant (Computer Aided Design) and Senior Technician, Stenographer, and other posts. Candidates who have applied for these posts can download their admit cards online through the official website of BIS.

The online examination for the Senior Technician, Technical Assistant (Laboratory), Stenographer, and other posts will be conducted on September 3, 2022. The recruitment advertisement, numbered 2/2022/ESTT, was released on April 16, 2022, for a total of 276 vacancies. The online examination for the Assistant (Computer Aided Design) and Senior Technician posts will be held on September 3, 2022, at various examination centers across the country. The dates for the online examination for the remaining posts will be notified by the BIS soon, and candidates are advised to regularly visit the BIS website for updates.

Candidates can download the BIS Admit Card 2022 by following these steps:

1. Visit the official BIS website – https://www.bis.gov.in/
2. Click on the “Exam Notice For The Advertisement NO. 2/2022/ESTT” under the “What’s New” section on the homepage.
3. Click on “Click here to download the Admit Card for Assistant (Computer Aided Design) & Senior Technician”
4. Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth (DD-MM-YY) login details and submit.
5. Download the admit card and take a printout.
6. Direct link to the admit card.

The online examination will consist of objective type multiple-choice tests in General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language, and Domain Knowledge. The total duration of the examination is 120 minutes, and it is bilingual (English and Hindi), except for the English Language test. Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the concerned discipline and in aggregate to qualify for the skill test/practical test/trade test.

Candidates must select the most appropriate answer by clicking on the alternative they feel is correct. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer marked by the candidate.
